In addition to the general text of the Qur’an, some specific surahs have exceptions over others. Surah Yasin is one of the favorite surahs of the Holy Quran. Surah Yasin is the 36th Surah of the Holy Quran which consists of 83 verses. It is included in the Makkah Surah because it was revealed to the Prophet in Makkah. Rewards of Surah Yaseen
There are immense rewards and benefits for those who read Surah Yasin, as mentioned by the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, in his Sayings of Yasin. Heart of Qur’an: As we all know that heart is the most important organ of our body, its entire function depends on the heart, if it stops, a person can die.
Similarly, Surah Yasin is the heart of the Quran and its reading and understanding is essential for every Muslim. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, everything has a heart and the heart of the Qur’an is Yaseen. I would like it to be in the heart of every one of my people.
(Tafseer Al-Sabooni Volume 2) From this hadith we can conclude that we should recite and memorize Surah Yasin. If we want to take blessings from Allah Almighty. If you read even one word of the Holy Quran, 10 blessings of Allah will be upon you. Whoever recites Surah Yasin will get the reward of reciting Quran ten times. As the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Surah Yasin, Allah gives him a reward equivalent to reciting the entire Qur’an.”
Benefits of Surah Yaseen
(Tirmidhi 2812-A) This gives more reasons for the believer to memorize Surah Yasin so that he can recite it several times a day. To receive great rewards, the value of which is beyond human consciousness. Our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever recites Surah Yasin at night to seek the pleasure of Allah, Allah will forgive him.
(Ibn Hibban, Darmi 3283-A) If you want Allah to forgive your sins, read Surah Yasin daily. Allah will surely forgive your sins. As we all know that listening to Surah Yasin is very beneficial with forgiveness of sins. That is why the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also advised to recite Surah Yasin in front of the dead. To help them forgive their sins. From this hadith we can conclude that reciting Surah Yasin for the dead is recommended.

There is another hadith that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Indeed, there is a Surah in the Holy Qur’an, the recitation of which will intercede and is a source of forgiveness for those who hear it.”

It was asked, O Messenger of Allah, what is it? He (PBUH) replied:
“It has worldly benefits for its reciter, it removes the fear of the Hereafter, and it is called Hafeeah and Qaziyyah.”
Then it was asked, how is this Surah Dafiyyah and Qaziyyah? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It removes all troubles from its reciter and fulfills his needs. Whoever recites it, it will be equal to twenty Hajjs. Whoever listens to him will be equal to a thousand dinars that he gave in charity in the way of Allah.
And whoever writes it and then drinks it in his heart a thousand healings, a thousand lights, a thousand times increase in faith, a thousand blessings, a thousand blessings, a thousand times increase in guidance, all kinds of diseases will be removed from it.
(Tirmidhi) This hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explains its wide and varied benefits. Moreover, its intercessory benefits are not limited to the person who recites it. But the benefits also take into account the person who listens to it.
