Have you ever wondered why nobody seems to care about your blog or website. After all, it was all made to sound so easy when you read all of the stories about how so many people had gone on to make a full time income from blogging. And you can’t even get your blog to earn you enough for a coffee and a doughnut.
If you carried out the necessary research before you set up your blog, than the best bit of advice that me or anyone else could give you would to be, don’t give up!
It is unfortunately the case that so many people decide to pack it in when success is just around the corner. They obviously don’t know that success is just around the corner or they wouldn’t give in but if you dig deep and just carry on you will already be far ahead of the pack.
If it seems that nobody cares about your website or blog I would strongly advise that you go back to basics. Is the blog welcoming when people arrive, does it load quickly and does it have useful information that people within the niche are looking for. Did you make a blog post a couple of weeks ago but despite your best intentions, you have simply been way to busy to make another post.
Blogging Why Nobody Reads Your Blog
You must remember that people who are looking for information are very rarely patient. if they don’t find what they are looking for they will soon start looking elsewhere. On the other hand, if your blog is full of great information and you are genuinely making an effort you will soon find that people will return on a regular basis. And you will see that people do care about whatever you have to say.
When someone becomes disillusioned with the results that they are getting from their blog or website is is usually just a case of taking a little time to investigate what could be improved on and then simply keeping at it. If you give up on a blog I can guarantee that you won’t make any money. However, if you make the effort to put things right then you will have an absolutely brilliant chance of succeeding.
I often get people telling me that their blog or website is not making them any money and when I ask them how long they have been promoting their blog they tell me. 2 days, or something like that. Now, there is nothing wrong with being ambitious bit you really have to give it a bit longer than that. Don’t forget, it is possible to earn more than enough money to enable you to quit your day job from a blog. So at least give it a bit of time to start to see the results coming in.
Try a few different methods of promoting your blog or website. So that you don’t have all of your eggs in one basket and keep to the basics with everything else. And you will soon find that your ugly duckling will turn into a beautiful swan.
